Created by: Jonas Gianuzzi, Joseph Kowalski, Tyler Ouellette, and Cameron Turley

This website is a school project to explain how life has changed from the time period of 500-1400 A.D. in African Kingdoms. This website describes how life was during that time period and how it has changed for the positive or negative by this simple rubric. It is called a G-GREASES Chart and it explains the characteristics of a society. G for Geography G for Government R for Religion E for Economics A for Arts and Architecture S for Science and Technology E for Education S for Social or Cultural Values. During the time period there were 3 societies and they were Mali, Ghana, and Songhai which were the biggest kingdoms of the time. Africa is very different now from all of the lineage groups being eliminated in the more populated areas but still practiced in rural areas but still many practices of African Kingdoms has been destroyed by the government to implement new systems that are more modernized than before.

There are a wide variety of information on this website laid out in the format of the tabs on the top of the webpage that will lead to all the research we found out about this topic and a bibliography of all the sources we used to find the information too. The G-GREASES chart is also included neatly organizing the main characteristics of each kingdom (Mali, Ghana, Songhai) and the entire Kingdom of Africa back then vs. how Africa is today compared to the African Kingdom back then.
